From a picture to the Gospel
Every word in the Greek course is taught the same way. Here is ἄρτος, from its first picture to the words of Jesus.

See it and hear it
Each new word arrives with a picture and a recorded voice. There is nothing to translate, because the picture already means bread.
ὁ πατὴρ κάθηται καὶ ἐσθίει ἄρτον.

Meet it in a story
In chapter 2 a father sits down to eat. The line is read aloud while the panel shows what it says.
ὁ ἄρτος καλός ἐστιν.

Understand a sentence you have never seen
You already know ἄρτος, and a picture gives you καλός. Put together, the sentence explains itself.
John 6:35
Ἐγώ εἰμι ὁ ἄρτος τῆς ζωῆς.
“I am the bread of life.”

Then you open the Gospel of John, and the word is already yours.
